I have a dell pc....I started it up and it wouldn't go on line...optimum checked it out and says it is my computers fault...anybody have any ideas what it could be...My document files have been giving me a problem.. I feel they might be corrupted.. could that be a reason?

Could you be a little more specific? (connecting with router,modem, ect)
what does your computer say? Page cannot be displayed - 404?
