Hi.

I recently plugged in a friend's external drive, and after that a number of probs cropped up.

Firstly, I can no longer open my hard disks directly. I have 4 hard disks. When i double click the icons in My Computer it will ask...'Open with''? I will then have to select a program.

Secondly, I scanned my pc with AVG and found a virus titled MS Anti, once deleted i still couldn't open my hard disks directly.

What's worse, my pc has restarted itself twice so far in two days which for me is highly unusual.

A few of my friends have told me that I have sent them certain files over MSN. But i did no such thing. Is the virus spawniing itself?

IS there a way to solves this bug or fix this virus. I really don't want to reformat.

Oh, forgot to mention that I repaired my Windows XP installation when i encountered this problem. But it was still the same after.
