Windows Won't Load + BSOD + CDROM Not Working
Hey All
Everytime I start up my computer, it comes up normally. But when it gets to the Windows XP Splash Screen, it goes halfway, and I see the BSOD for about half a second before it restarts. This has been happening for ages now.
-
I just ran Windows XP Pro through my other HD, and the BSOD came up and gave me this:
Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7910528,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)
-
I just ran Windows 2000, and got another one:
***STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF241B84C,0x00000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)
INACCESSABLE BOOT DEVICE

Read the post HERE for a few diagnostic ideas and post back any relevant data.

I read that.
I can't change the automatic Restart option becaause Windows 98 don't have it =S
-
You have now mentioned 3 different operating systems.
What are you using?
-
Oh yeah, sorry.
I got two HDs. On the Master one, I got Windows XP HOME. That's the one I usually use. But I just stuck in my other HD from my old old computer as a slave, and it has Windows Xp Pro, Windows 2000 and Windows 98.
-
So which is the problem?
XP Home?
If so have you tried starting in Safe Mode?
-
The problem is:
Windows XP Home
Windows XP Pro
Windows 2000
And when I try going on Safe Mode, it just shows the BSOD for half a second before restarting.

Most likely hardware but first off simplify.
One hard drive. One operating system.
Try to reinstall the one of your choice.
