Yep, a few weeks ago he was able to play "fury" a little bit, but still crashed on login and lagged a bit.

So the best option is to buy a new motherboard with DDR2 ram? I've also got this sitting around, a "DVI graphics-SI RoHS" , which could be put in the new motherboard?

With my previous graphics card i was able to run World of Warcraft and i never experianced crashes and such, it was a few days after installing the new graphics card these issues occured.

We should go back to that other thread.

I posted the only board I could find that still supports his CPU.

The socket 478 is outdated but I did find this one board.

It has a PCI_E x16 graphics slot which would take the newer graphics cards.

As mentioned this card is being "strangled" by that motherboard.
