My PC is delaying to load the desktop icons and the task bar after booting.I dont know what might be the problem,help me please.

Have you recently loaded any new software or installed new hardware?

Do you clean out your temp and temp internet files on a regular basis?

How long since your last defrag?

Do you have a lot of items loading at startup? ie; Icons in the systray.

no Mr Dan i didnt do any of those you mentioned,i once tried to remove some of the icons on the desktop but it didnt help.

A good "cleaner" for removing junk from your system is CCleaner.

Once you download and install it, open the program then click on (on the left hand side) OPTIONS, then COOKIES. Any cookies you want to save (trusted sites, places you have usernames/passwords), highlight them in the left column, then (using the directional arrows between the panes), move them to the right hand column under "Cookies to keep".

Then click on Cleaner (on the left). When that window opens, click on Run Cleaner (bottom right of the window.)

When it finishes, close CCleaner, and restart your machine.
