Hi!, Why is it I can record and delete data on some of my re-writable CD/DVD's and not on others? Some work well, no problem but when I put the other ones in I am told to insert disc or disc is full. I get the same response when I try to transfer files from my ROM drive to my RW drive. Apart from that, my drives work ok.

Different media (ie manufacturers - Sony, Maxell, Memorex, etc) can and will react differently in certain drives. Look up the specs for your drive and see if there's a recommended media brand.

Up untill now all specs worked. Were do I find the specs for my drives.

If you know the make and model number, a Google search will turn up links to the manufacturers site. From there, search for the specs for your model number.
If you don't know the above, check Device Manager. (Start, Run, type in devmgmt.msc and hit ENTER.)
Expand the DVD/CD-ROM drives key (the + on the left of the key) and your drive should be listed.
If this fails, download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (Clean FreeWare) This will tell you about all the hardware and software in your machine.
If you have trouble locating the specs, post your DVD/CD-ROM drive make and model number here.
