Windows XP Pro - dvd decoder
I have attempted play a dvd but received the following message, "Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer"
I went to the MS site where I could purchase a decoder download. I also Googled dvd decoder for XP and there were several results, many offering free downloads. I am reluctant to just download from any site and would ask, in the opinion of D A L members are there problems I could encounter if I did download a 'free' dvd decoder?
