My computer stopped with a Blue Screen

Hi, I was happily working away on my computer when it suddenly crashed...I just saw a blue screen which said that the computer was in a loop in which it couldn't recover and that ATI2DVAG was the cause...This happened twice yesterday and three times today. Does anybody have a solution?
I'm not very good at computers but from what I've found out so far it is to do with my Video (Graphics) card.

I have Radeon 9200 Pro Family and Radeon 9200 Pro Sec Family
My system is a Windows XP Pro Sp2 with a Pent 4 3GHz 512MB RAM

    Thanks in advance.

download Catalyst Software Suite from this site

    http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/x...rer300-xp.html

and install it if that dont work then i know it sounds stupid but it has been known to work take out the video card and clean it then put it back.

Hi, First of all let me say thank you for your help.
Now, as you said I have downloaded the Catalyst Software Suite you suggested . In the instructions it tells you to un-install the previous version of the ATI driver from the Control Panel, Install Application/Program....Howeve from the list that is given there is NOTHING from ATI or RADEON to Un-install
So what now? Can I safely install the updated software without uninstalling the older version?

The driver should be listed as ATI Display Driver.

If not then just install it.

Also read this post for more error details:

Hi, I have run the installer and near the end of installation there was an error report from the ATI Installer its self. At the moment there doesn't seem to be any problems but it will take a little time to see any.
    Fingers crossed!!!

what did the error report say

The error report didn't say anything..or if it did I didn't see.:-( It just said that it had encountered an error and wanted me to allow it to send an error report to ATI. However I did include my email address so that they could advise me further about this error.

I had a blue screen error. I thought it was due to graphics card first later foudn it was due RAM error. I changed the RAM and working fine till then.
