    Video clip thumbnails!

Hi, recently when I browse folders in windows explorer and in particular, folders with video clips in them, thumbnails of the video clips no longer appear.

What I mean is, normally when you look in the folder and the icons are set to view thumbnails, you see an image of a single frame from the video as the icon/thumbnail, but for some reason that randomly stopped and now the icons dont show any image so it's a bit annoying really.

I think it started ever since i installed the k-lite codec pack, but i uninstalled them and it didn't change anything. I'm sure there's an easy fix for this so help would be appreciated

Go to Start/Run and type in:

    regsvr32 /i shell32

    Click OK.

    Restart your computer.

If you have a Restore point prior to the problem that might do it.

There is an option to "Undo last restore" if that is what you mean.

If a Restore corrects the problem then you would not want to undo it.

A Restore will not affect data but will remove any programs installed in the interim.

It basically resets the registry to the point chosen.
