Hey, sorry for the long wait, but yes it does work when i go into safe mode with networking. The only difference is that it downloads in a external window now, and completes it. But yes, that solved it; although i don't fancy restarting my computer into safe mode w/ networking every time i want to download something. *Ok, never mind. I switched back to safe mode w/ networking and tried to download something else, and it didn't work. It's strange, because they were from the same site, about the same size ,and almost the same thing.*

Might be firewall settings, are you using the integrated NIC or a PCI one?

I guess i have integrated... I believe i fixed it though, i just did this:
Start Menu>Control panel>Windows Firewall>Exeptions tab. I just clicked Add Program and clicked on Mozilla Firefox.
