Communications_helper.exe using 250mb memory for no reason!!

When my computer has been on for a while, a process called communications_helper.exe which i think is part of Logitech software just starts taking more and more of my memory. At the current time of writing it is using 250mb of memory!

Does anyone understand why this is the case and what I can do to fix it?

    thanks

Searching the net, it looks like you're not alone.
It looks like some Logitech glitch, which hasn't been fixed, yet.
What would happen, if you disable this process?

If i disable it it goes, and everything is fine. I'll probably just uninstall the logitech software then

    thanks!

I'm just curious. Is that process a part of some web camera "thingy"?
If you disable that particular process, a whole program won't work, or...???

it is part of my webcam yes, but i uninstalled the webcam software, not the drivers, so the webcam still works without any of the logitech crappy software
