At the moment I have 4 HDs, three IDE with SATA adapters and one full SATA.

I wish to install another 250gb SATA in place of the IDE Master which has the OS on it. I have kindly been given advice and help from Dan Penny about shovelling my OS from the IDE to a SATA, but how do I go about formatting and partitioning the SATA first.

IO do not think that by using my old 98SE start-up diskette would be much use, although it would certainly be the easiest?

May I ask: Any tips please?
