Hello everyone

I am still having problems with shut-down. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it does not; without switching off the machine.

I thought that it might be that I have not received all the necessary updates. I have my machine set to 'Download but do not install until I ask?' I have been along to the Window Update page on the net, which tells me it is checking my computer and I have had ActiveX reinstalled. I do not seem to be in default of any downloads, but then again I have not seen anything appear for many a long time now. So please what may be the problem.

My copy of WinXP Pro has been verified on numerous occasions.
