Hello everyone

May I ask please, what can cause my machine to suddenly freeze from just about any programme, when I have to shut down by pressing to off button on the computer case?

Most annoying, as it often leads to my using the 'R' function on the XP Disk to get it to go again as the bootcfg seems to get scewed up.
