Question Not sure what ive done...

Hi everyone, i am new here, not great at computers, so i will try and explain theis the best i can.

I was hit by the microbillingsystem bill (what a pain!) and recieved advice to download spybot search and destroy to remove it.
I did this, and it appears to have worked. However, whilst spybot was doing its thing, it asked me for permision to change some registry values. I clicked yes on a few. I thought that if it needed to change things then it must be right.
Now, when i switch my pc on, it asks permission for a couple of things which i deny. One thing which has changed, 2 black boxes come up on the top left of the screen, with some data in them, then disapear. My work pc does this when you log on too.
This didnt happen before, so now im worried that ive done something i shouldnt have.
If i remove spybot will it all go back to how it was? - is the mbs stuff gone properly?
I apear to have allowed 9 different registry changes. Can anyone advise me?
    Thanks x

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have checked and none of those process are running. Does this mean the dambed thing has gone? Do i have to keep spybot, or has it gone for good?

Any idea what the black boxes are when i turn the pc on?
As i said, my pc at work does this, so im not overly worried, but am wondering what the heck ive changed for it to do so!

    Cheers! x

if you remove it the program will not come back.

Please read THIS and after completing the steps outlined post a HijackThis log over in that section along with a brief description of your problem.

Do not post HijackThis logs in this section please.

Appologies, but i have no idea what a hijack this log is or how to do it.

If i do a system restore to before the spybot etc, then put everything back the way it was, then download spybot and choose not to change anything will it be as normal?
i Have also found that this only happens on my user name.

    You can try System Restore.

It would be best to follow the instructions in the link above THIS.

It explains all you need to know re: HijackThis logs.
