hi i'm new on this so i hope i put things across right.
i can be in the middle of playing a game on the net and my comp just closes down and restarts for no reason.
i also experience a go slow when somestimes searching the net it is as if my comp freezes and on a go slow like when i try to click on a link or whatever.
i have run virus scans etc.
anyone help please

Check your Event Viewer via Administrative Tools.

Open the System as well as Application tabs and look for red X errors that coincide with your problem. Details here:

Also turn off the auto restart function:

Right click on My Computer

Select Properties

Select the Advanced tab then the Startup & Recovery section

Select the Settings button

Uncheck "Automatically restart" and then click Apply


This will give you a Blue Screen with the error message rather than restarting the computer.

Write down the error detail then use the reset button on the computer to restart.
