I get this error if I navigate to a folder with video files or open one of them:


I never had this problem before and I have not installed any new programs.

You might try a System Restore to a point prior to your problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Have you ever installed any codec pack, like K-Lite Codec Pack? If so, reinstall it.
Which player do you use to play your videos?

Already tried System Restore did not work. I use VLC player and I have some Codecs install I dont remember what pack it was I installed but the VLC player plays almost every type of video file.

Did you try to reinstall VLC?

I tried that in the beginning it didn't help. It has stopped giving me the error but iI have not clue why because after I tried every thing it still did it.

What I meant is that the problem stopped by itself and nothing I did fixed it.
