if i use the keyboard to turn the volume up or down it freezes.
like the mouse move but i can't click on anything and alt,ctrl and del will
come up not display anything and i have to reset the computer

If you have this option on your keyboard then there are third party drivers involved i.e. your keyboard drivers.

Is this a new problem? Did this feature ever work? Do you have the driver CD/floppy for your keyboard?

the keyboard came whet the computer. it's an hp and they did work before.
and no cd or floppy and i deleted the keyboard drivers and it reinstall them and it stell don't work

You mention this happens with the keyboard. Can you change your volume with the standard Volume control? (speaker icon on your tray by the clock).
