    Failed Gameplay

I recently downloaded a game called Lunia and when I try to run it, I get a visual runtime error. I've posted a HijackThis log and I've been told my problem might be with my video capabilities , here: http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=53003

The download site for Lunia can be found at- http://global.lunia.com/download/default.asp

My computer is a windows latitude. I have direct x 9.0 and I have 384 MB of RAM.

    Thank you in advanced :]

Well, for one thing, you state above you only have 384Mb of RAM. That's barely enough for XP, let alone any security applications, and then your game on top of that. Note on your link to Lunia, it says the minimum system requirments for RAM is 512Mb.

    It also says you need:

    Minimum:
    nVidia GeForce FX5200 or higher
    ATI Radeon 9200 or higher
    Recommended:
    nVidia GeForce FX5600 or higher
    ATI Radeon 9600 or higher
And it says "In order to play Lunia, DirectX 9.0c or higher version is required".

Yeah, I suspect you will run into similar problems with other programs. The first thing you need to do is bump up your RAM. I generally recommend 1Gb for XP - 1Gb per core if running multi-core processors. 2 Gb for Vista. Upgrading RAM generally gives the most bang for the money. Next would be a better graphics card, however at that point, care must be taken to ensure the limits of the power supply are not exceeded. And at some point, the value of continuing an upgrade path on an old motherboard/CPU combination must be weighed against the value and lifespan of a new motherboard/CPU.
