Every time I go into one of my forums, I've to re-sign in. I have made sure the "Remember me" box is ticked. I've done three re-starts. I've emptied all history, cookies, etc. etc, etc. I've done a virus scan, trojan check.

I'm at a loss as to understand what has went wrong. My computer is only five months old. This far I've had no problems with it, until now that is.

Any advice woud be greatly appreciated.

I am using internet explorer, yes, but I didn't delete the files till about a hundred tries at loging in. Also, I replaced the cookies again, but my computer still doesn't seem to store them any more.
Could something be wrong with my IE?
I'm really not very good with puters, you'll have gathered that of course.

are you using any other programmes that remove cookies?

when did this problem start, have you done any updates or added any new programmes?

To your first quiestion: I don't know.
This problem started today.
It's set to do updates automatically, so maybe.

I left the computer on, went to have lunch, came back and it was off.
I re started it, it didn't come on properly however. you know the black page with the white line going along the bottom?
Ever since my cookies are not staying stored. I don't seem to have a virus or trojan.
I just don't know what could be wrong.
