Hi
I am synching three computers on an MS home network, all running XP Pro,
using "Good Sync V6" for Folders and Files in the "Docs & Settings" folders of a chosen User.
This calls for the target and sources to be "Read Only - Unchecked" (ie readable!)
If I un-check this box in any of the sub folders and "Apply OK", the deeper sub-folders and files remain checked and therefore "Read Only" even if "apply to this folder and all sub folders" is chosen in the process.
A global change of this attrib for all the folders and files seems is not achieved.

Am I trying to achieve the impossible of just doing something amiss?

control panel, folder settings and you should find the answer there

All permissions OK

Control Panel > Folders > View
Tried unchecking "Use Simple File Sharing"
Still able to cancel the "Read Only", But on exit all filea are again reset....
