    NTLDR MISSING (another one)!

I have just inherited an E-machine Model 3210,with OEM Windows XP installed
and complete with 2 OEM System recovery Discs but no bootable system floppies. To clean the machine I decided to do a System recovery, using the OEM disc. It started OK but then came up with some messages about ghost .text.It then continued to complete a very short recovery program, finally ending by the message" System is restored, remove CD and press any key to reboot. This I did, but it comes up with the message" NTLDR missing, press Ctl,Alt,Del to restart. But it never does! I have read a lot of similar threads but none of them actually say what to do in simple terms.
I know the history of this PC and up until I tried to do a recovery it was working perfectly. Silly Me!! The machine is well out of warranty and purchased in the UK
    .

This is a widely posted issue with eMachines Recovery without any definitive answer.

Here is one to try. Create on a floppy disk a text file of anything and title it GHOSTERR.TXT

Then boot the Recovery CD again and as soon as it starts insert this floppy disk.

Thanks For The Suggestion, But It Didn't Work! However, A Friend Has Just Updated His Laptop And He Gave Me His Old Authorised Xp System Disc, Which Loaded Xp Into My Pc No Problems!
It Would Appear That A Lot Of "these Ntldr Missing" Problems May Be Caused By Corrupted Oem System Discs Which Are Probably Mass Produced To Go With The Product
