What is the exact Dell model?

The LAN drivers will be at their web site under the specific model:

Yes just put the drivers on a CD. I am unsure what you exactly need. It will either be under: Communications: Modem

    or: Network: NIC

If you do not have wireless I would guess you want: Broadcom - Driver
    Applies to:
    4401 Integrated NIC

In order to install go to the Device Manager and click on Network adapters or it might be listed under Other Devices.

Device Manager = right click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager.

Right click the device in question and then choose "Update Driver"

Tell the wizard that you have the CD and then point it to the CD.

Post back if you need further clarification.
