Hi geeks .... Im building a new desktop pc , so just wanted to have some doubts cleared before landing into ne trouble

So my questions are as follows
1. I've bought a Seagate Barrdacud 320 GB , now when i will first boot my system i.e when everything is assembled , how do i partition my hard drive b4 installing windows . I mean the HD is completly new so the drive shud be unallocated rite?
SO how do i do this ?

2. Wat antivirus software do geeks suggeST ? wats the difference between original copies n the cracked ones ?

Do help me out with this guys . i know its too noob ...but still :P

1 you should be able to partition the drive when you install windows.

2 you will get no help here on any cracked software.

I like AVG AntiVirus. There is a free version.
