can't seem to open anything anymore after many TABS have been opened
hello there great people who help, im back again with a question..
since some time Im having problems with my computer, the thing is, it doesnt always occure, it seems to only occure when I open many many tabs in one internet windows..
The things that happens is, after some time, it seems a bug happens, and I cannot open any more other tabs, I cannot right click (the menu doesnt appear), I cannot save a file cause the menu wont open either, i cannot start any other program cause it promptly will shut down, it's like nothing more can be opened, and Im 100% sure it's after I use a lot f tabs in one internet window.. wich is weird
so it doesnt only occure in internet, but on my whole computer, nothing starts up anymore. the only thing I can do, is restart so I am not limited to a few windows and not being able to start up any more windows.
I don't know what this is, so I can't find solutions as I don't know what correct keywords to type in google. I mailed windows, but the only response I got after a few weeks was an autoreply, wich was not helping at all..
My computer is being cleaned frequently with Ccleander, spybot, adaware, avg antispyware, and is getting scanned everyday with avg antivirus at start up. I just did a SFC /scannow cause I read it could fix internet problems.. and I did that before with other computer problems. but I could use a few hints
This actually started with IE 7 (obviously as it's the internet with tabs
)
thanks in advance for your time!

Monitor your Task Manager while you are working with all these tabs and note the particular processes running the CPU.
First off what is the total CPU% Usage? Then what % of that is iexplorer.exe
-
Hello, thank you for answering!
Im looking at my CPU in taskmanager now, and trying to recreate the bug (god whyyy lol)
I opened between 10 and 15 tabs, like I normally do, the first moments it always goes fine, until the moment something goes wrong and the bug or whatever it is begins, then I see I can't rightclick , if I open another tab it wont load (the link I opened in it) it get progressivly worse, until I can only have one window open on my computer and need to reboot to get rid of it.
My CPU got to 100% when I logged in here and loaded this page, it only got to 60% when I opened the tabs, now it is 10% sometimes 20% in de the process tab, ieexplorer.exe only gets up to 11% sometimes 14% right now Im going to try to trigger the bug now then and see what the CPU does..
edit: well I just did some opening of many tabs, the bug hasnt happened YET, like I said, it goes ok for a while before it goes wrong.. I noticed the CPU varies, it can go very high, but not all the time, also for the cpu of iexplorer. I notice the cpu for system idle process also goes pretty high..

Reason: ETA

System Idle Process is just the inverse of CPU usage so the higher the better.
Idle @ 99% = CPU usage @ 1% etc.
Try running this command from start Run... :
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
-
ha good to know, cause it's very high all the time. we learn something every day hehe.
I ran that command, it said to me:
DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shell32.dll succeeded.
-
Any difference in performance?
-
Not sure, the bug hasnt occure yet, but I havent been intensive with tabs the last few days, so Ill see when it happens, IF it happens, and let something know, thank you so much!

doesnt look like it's fixed..

thebug is still there, it's there right now, CPU is normal it doesnt go extremely high or abnormally different then usual I think.
