help! when i try and log off or restart dll.host won't log off then stops responding. Don't know how or why or what it is!
Also chkdsk automatically runs when i log on and i can't turn it off and now i can't defragment or clean up because it tells me to run chkdsk /f. (does nothing when i run this)..

As to the dll.host notice: is that the full notice? dll.host? Or is there an additional .exe referred to?

yep you are right message is dll.host.exe

That is most likely a virus.

I'd suggest again the HijackThis approach and let our Pros take a look at it.
