Start up Problem
Well just recently my computer started to act up for no aparent reason. I have not recently installed any programs or software so i know it cant be that. Well the issue is that when i turn on my computer when the computer loads up and its about to show the windows logo it restarts the whole P.C. Once it restarts once it then shows a black screen saying that it was shutdown or restarted improperly and blah blah blah, so it gives me options to choose from..." Safe mode networking.....S.M command prompt......Safe mode..... Start windows normally and load up last know good configuration." When i choose to load up windows normally it just restarts again, BUT when i choose the option to load last know good configuration it loads up just fine. I have no idea why it continues to do this. I have ran a virus scan and nothin came up. I've also tried spyware doctor.. i ran a Register scan and **** doctor scan with Tuneup utilities 2007 but it still does it. Any suggestions?

Try running Check Disk:
Go to start Run... and type: cmd
Then type: chkdsk /f
You will be told the volume is in use do you want to run chkdsk on next boot? Type: Y and reboot.

Done that already...it took about 5 hours but i did it and my computer still has the same issue.

It should take about 5 minutes.
I would run the manufacturer's diagnostic on the hard drive.

Update:
I decided to back up all my files on my seperate HDD i have on my P.C and reinstall windows. Thanks anyways man.

Thanks for the update.
I would continue to backup everything regularly as it sounds like that hard drive might be near its end.
