thats correct its not showing under my computer or bios

Try resetting the connections on the motherboard and the drive.

Verify the jumper settings.

If you are on the end of the Secondary Channel set jumpers to Master.

If otherwise set to slave or Cable Select as appropriate.

If the BIOS does not see it Windows has no chance.

If the BIOS does not see it it is a basic connection problem.
