today, when i was playing WOW, i got the message:
The system process C:\windows\system32services.exe terminated unexpectedly. The system will shut down and then restart.

im running:
Windows XP Service Pack 2
ATI Radeon 700x se

anyone can help me with thsi problem? i have lots of valuable things on that computer and i just can't get on it, so i can't paste a HJT file here if u ask for it, sorry for that.

What do you mean you "can't get on it"? It won't boot at all now? What happens when you try to boot? Can you get into safe mode?

when i start and logg in on my user, it actually starts rather normal, but when i do anything, it freezes, or it shows up the message with the service.exe crashed

well when i start safe mode, then logg in, it keeps showing me the black screen with safe mode in every corner and microsoft(r) etc in the upper middle

And in safe mode, you don't see your start button or anything else?

i have found out that if i get the message with the countdown, and i press
start>run>shutdown -a it doesnt restart, so i can get on my computer now, only runs slow, and still ain't got the problem fixed.

I am glad you are able to get in. I think at this point you need to run through a complete malware scan as your original error, and slow performance are both signs of infestation. If you don't have your own arsenal, check out my sticky, Cleaning Out Malware.

good news,
i used all the programms against malware, did a system restore, defragmentation and now my computer works good and fast again, sometimes runs lil stuck or someting, still figuring out how to solve that
