First of all this is the first time I've had a problem with my mic that I couldn't figure out myself. I went on vacation for a week and when I came back my comp wouldn't load windows, so I did a system restore to the last day I used my comp and it worked again. Only problem is that the mic wont work. Ive tried everything I can think (including checking the volume, making sure its not muted, doing a sound hardware test, turning on and off the microphone boost, and even using a different microphone.) and to be honest I'm kind of clueless as to what the problem could be. Any suggestions?
