Hi, I've noticed that the autocomplete on google works but it only seems to remember things from about a week ago

is there any way its memory can be extended? i've PC in the past which seem to remember things like this for years

Your previous searches are saved by your browser, not Google. In many browsers, you can press the Ctrl + H keys to see your search history.

IE > Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing history > Settings > History > Days to keep pages in history

Thanks, that is all set up but the things that autocomplete remembers are only a few days old. i wonder how i can get it to remember older things

it's not related to days to keep pages in history because on all my computers i've always had that set to 20 days and have been able to autocomplete things from months ago
