For some reason ,on my new HP PC, operating via WinXP, when I use Google Mail, Hotmail, I am unable to access the editing items in the tool bar...especially the color"s. Also, all web pages are colorless. I tried changing format to & from Beta...no succes. One of the Cust. Service persons suggested I run the Operating disc or System Restore disc.
Help???????????

Using a manufacturers Restore CD generally wipes the system, so in case, back up everything you might want onto CD/DVD/2nd hard disk (if you have one).

Go to Control Panel, Internet Options. Click on Colors (near the bottom left of the General tab. Everything appear normal there? (ie; Is "Use Windows colors" checked?)

It's only web pages that are colorless? All else is OK?
