    User Accounts

    Hi all

    Help please............

My operating system is XP home

I have created an user account but as of yet can't get it to connect to the internet.

With the new user account open I click "Start" then "connect to" and although it shows both connections on my PC ie ASDL and dial-up when I click on them, I get a message saying the PC in not connected to the internet...

Likewise when I click on I.E. in the Start up menu I get the same thing.

Is there something else I should be doing ?

Any help will be much appreciated...

    Sunagor

Is the (working) Internet Connection (under an Administrator level account) set for use by everyone who uses the computer?

Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections, then the (main established) connection Properties should get you there. There should be an option for "Default (or Use this) connection for anyone who uses this computer" or similar wording.

    You're welcome.

Heh, I'm just one of a few. I just happened to get here before someone else.
