hi there Everyone! Hopefully, somebody here is a star for me! We set my computer up ages ago and besides the odd glitch here and there we haven't had any major problems. I logged off it and shut it down last night, and there was no problems, but when I came to turn it on this morning, nothing much happened. Obviously, I have checked the plugs are all in and turned on etc, and when I turned the on/off button on the tower, the green light came on to say that it is on, but absolutely nothing else happened, it didn't even start to load. We had a corrupt hard drive about a year ago , and when we tried to boot it up then, it got so far and then stopped, but we replaced the hard drive and haven't had any problems with that, but this time it doesn't evem start to load up at all. We are using Windows XP , and have McAfee Security Suite, as well as the built in Firewall on the Netgear Router. Has anybody got any ideas??? Thanks you in advance !!! T xxxxxxx

If all you're getting is a power LED, and no fans or hard disks are spinning up, I'd suspect the power supply.
