This has happened several times over the last few weeks.

This is the error message I got

I followed the MS debugging install and ran debug wiz

This is the text I got:

The only recent change was a video card.

I ran debugwiz again and here is what i got

That was triggered by Windows Defender.

Have you used this program prior to these problems?

I have always been using windows defender. Have not had any problems prior to the last couple of weeks.

Here is the log that happened not during the time that Windows Defender was set up to do a scan.

Those two were nearly identical.

A pool header issue is a problem with Windows memory allocation. Device driver issues are probably the most common, but this can have diverse causes including bad sectors or other disk write issues, and problems with some routers. (By theory, RAM problems would be suspect for memory pool issues, but I haven’t been able to confirm this as a cause.)

If this problem coincided with a new graphics card I would suspect that first.

Did you uninstall any previous graphics drivers and then install new drivers?

Also does the card share your on-board RAM?

What is the make and model of the card?

As far as I know it does not share RAM.

7300 GTS 512 MB

I reinstalled the latest drivers just to see what would happen.

Minimum requirements for that card:

Minimum System Requirements

CD/DVD-ROM Drive
Minimum 512MB System Memory
Windows 2000/XP/Vista
Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 18 Amp Amps.)

Some cards of that type share system memory when you go from 256 to 512 but this does not state that. As long as you have at least 512 on board.

Your dumps were indicating a memory connection is why I was asking.

I am running 1GB of RAM. I will keep tabs on it. So far no restarts since I updated.
