    I only had 2 freezings
That's still 2 too many. All it takes is 1 at just the right moment to corrupt your hard drive. Which brings up a point; you should back up your critical data before you lose it all.

Ok I think I've solved the problem now.

I always suspected of windows explorer and my suspictions were founded.
Reading some posts here about windows explorer problems I decided to try
    "shellexview".

Disabled 3 or 4 dll not related to microsoft, and that's it.

    No more freezings so far.

Ok now I'm just trying to learn a little bit more about that aplication.

I disabled all nom-microsoft (there were not tha much 5 or 6), but I dont know if they won't become active after a reboot !!

Now I'm trying to find out which one caused the freezings.
Will start enabling one by one until I find the "guilty".

will be back with more news as soon as possible.

    hilfer.
