Hi all
Im having real problems trying to start my home pc,when i switch on it goes to a screen saying windows was not shut down properly and give a number of options,sart in safe mode,normally,last know etc etc which ever one i choose it appears to be logging on to windows then i loose the screen and it reverts to the not shut down properly screen, can anyone help please thanks

What is the make and model of the computer?

What type of XP CD do you have?

The make is Tiny not sure of model and XP was pre loaded

Even if XP was pre-loaded you should have received an XP CD or been told that there was a Recovery Hot Key.

As Tiny no longer exists there is not much help there.

You can try booting the 6 floppy setup disks from Microsoft in order to enter the Recovery Console. Once there you can try the commands: FIXBOOT and or FIXMBR

If these do not work you will need to obtain an XP CD with a valid Product Key and reinstall XP.
