Probably under "Advanced". Look for something similar to "Enable S.M.A.R.T. Status".
It may be under one of the Hard Disk setup or parameters screens. Exactly where depends on the bios version for the motherboard. They vary mobo model to mobo model.
I have a TriGem (Cognac) board in one of my systems. It's in "storage" at the moment, but if I recall correctly, the Phoenix bios in that doesn't have the SMART option either. I've checked my .pdf document for the board, and it's not mentioned.
Was SMART "engaged" on this board before, or was it an O/S or third party element?
I've just spent the last hour searching for manuals, information, etc on the TriGem Imperial mobo's. I saw one quick reference of hitting F11 to bring up advanced bios "goodies" (not my wording) for the Phoenix bios.
I also saw that a third party program must be used to enable SMART monitoring. (This was buried in the many documents on the Western Digital site.)
I have a tool I downloaded quite a while ago (from Western Digital) for diagnosing/monitoring WD drives in the Windows environment. It displays SMART status. But that's about it. You have to click on the "SMART Status" tab within the program for the display. I'll attach it in case you'd like it.
