Hello,
My laptop it running really slow when I start it up. It takes forever to boot up and then When I click on an icon it takes a while for it to load the program. When I do open the program it works fine for a while then starts to kinda pause every once in a while. I have norton antivirus installed and updated and I ran ewido anti spyware on it. It found nothing. Any help would be great. The operating system is windows xp pro.

What is the size of your hard drive and how much free space do you have remaining? How much RAM (memory) do you have installed? Is this a new problem or an ongoing problem? Have you installed any new hardware or software recently?
