I'm having problems with spoolsv.exe taking 100% of CPU when I try to print from my HP psc 1317 printer/scanner/copier.

Done virus checks, run Registry Mechanic, run Avast scan, cccleaner and all showing OK.

But send a doc to print and that's it. I had this once before but cannot for the life of me remember what I did to fix.

I have also checked the driver and is supposedly up to date.

Any further suggestions welcome
