I have a file called sp6371.exe on my desktop, when I try to remove it it says it can't be deleted because it is in use.

I started my computer in safe mode and tried again but still gave same still in use message.

This program is from an OLD Compaq laptop universal drivers management tool I downloaded for my OLD junker laptop. I don't even ever remember installing it on this machine which has a matrox video card in it.

I went thru the add remove programs, cant find it, went thru programs running nothing jumping out at me as what to turn off to stop this from working long enough to remove it.

I know its not for my computer or my system, it was downloaded for the old laptop, yet for some reason when I go to remove it I get that can't remove it is being used message.

Any ideas?

Sorta driving me batty on my desktop here when I know I don't need or use this on this computer.
