Norton Ghost Questions
I have some questions about Norton Ghost
1: Does it only create a image or the hard drive and backs it up? Or does it have other features?
2: How would I use Norton Ghost to fix a computer with the image if I do not have a USB drive or a CD/DVD with the image on it? (I guess what I'm asking how would I copy a image of a working computer and the non working if they are sitting right next to each other)
3: What if a older system with a completely wiped out hard drive that requires DOS to install anything on it were to happen how would I copy a image of a hardrive to it without a CD/DVD or is it even possible?
4: Is it possible to create a image of a hard drive and place it on a partition on that hard drive and use it to fix it if the C: were to be wiped?
I'm sorry if my wording is very confusing but I can not think of any other way to put it. Thank you for your time.

1: http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoff...r&pvid=ghost10
2: Slave the drive of the non-working computer into the working one.
3: Again as a slave drive in a functioning computer. There is not much you can do with a blank drive without a DVD/CD drive.
4: Yes.

Thank you for the information could you explain how #2 in detail how to do so?

Remove the drive from the old computer.
Change the jumper from Master to slave.
Install in working computer using the middle (or grey/slave) connector on the Primary channel (the one your good drive is on as Master at the end or black connector).
There are a few guides within this Google.
Let us know if you need more detail.
If for some reason the above won't allow for a copy or clone then try putting it on the Secondary channel (i.e. the one that goes to your DVD/CD drive).
