    Cool Network Problem

I have a 3 machine network at home. The main machine is hard wired (ethernet). The other two are wireless to the hub. The wireless machines are operating on the network fine. I have had to reinstall windows XP on the main machine and although the internet coonnection is working fine, I cannot set it up for the network again (was working before the reinstall). Also in the start menu, "My Network Places" does not appear.

    Please can you help

Do you receive any error messages when trying to view the other computer??
Do you have File & Print Sharing Enabled??
    Have you checked your firewall?

How many users did you set up on your machine? Make sure you are logging in as Administarator.

Network Magic was very useful for clearly understamding which machines were visible to the network, but it did not solve the problem. The problem was with Norton Internet Security 2007. I had to add all the IP addresses of all the computers on the network (including the host itself) to Norton 2007's "Trusted" list under personal firewall. This is now solved.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed.
