I have a problem with the starting of my computer,Beeps but most of the time its a good beep.
This time theres no singnal on the screen and it beeps after 5-6 seconds and its
one long beep.
ive tried everything PLZ HELP

Have you tried F8 to enter Safe Mode?

Is this a new problem?

What is the make and model of the computer?

Are you familiar with opening it up?

Beeps are BIOS codes. The one Beep is a normal OK boot.

A continuous beep is indicating some hardware failure.

Reseating and minimizing the RAM is always a good first step if you are comfortable working inside the case.

I have tried taking out the Ram and inserting it back on but there was no result I have also tried to take out the bios battery and inserting it back in The problem was when i turned it off by the switch one day, would that be a problem

I have just noticed my computer quikly beeps twice after the long beep, is this a problem???

Normal POST - system is ok
2 short beeps- POST Error - error code shown on screen
No beep- Power supply or system board problem
Continuous beep- Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem
Repeating short beeps- Power supply or system board problem
1 long, 1 short beep- System board problem
1 long, 2 short beeps- Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA)
1 long, 3 short beeps- Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA)
3 long beeps- 3270 keyboard card

Looks like Display Adapter to me.
