    Help Me! System Restore

    Hey,

Okay...I have recently run into huge problems with my computer. While shutting down it had a problem, something about turning off Windows while a problem occured. For a week or so everytime I had tried to turn it on, it would restart over and over again. Finally out of luck, it had turned on normally, but since then my computer has been slower than before all of this happened.

I want to system restore it, maybe that'll fix the problem, only thing is I need to restore it a month before today, and Windows won't let me. It only gives me a few days within the month of April to restore it. How can I get around this issue?

There is no way to change System Restore save resetting it to a clean slate for the future.

Read the post HERE for a few diagnostic ideas and post back any relevant data.

Hi... I'm no expert, but give this a try... Its worked for me..

.. choose the latest restore point, in other words the restorepoint with the closest date to your current system date...

.. restore to this point... If it doesnt work .. try the next previos restore point... and so forth...

... you will loose any recent changes to your system and might have to reinstall some of your recent software installs and tweaks... your data files will not be affected though...

... its also good practice to manually create a restore point for your system at least once a month.. especially if your continueosly updating your system..

    >Start>Programs>Accesories>SystemTools>SystemResto re

    GoodLuck...
