So you are saying the drives are over 90% full?

This is a similar issue of no space left. (This isn't memory per se but disk space).

You can delete unwanted programs and files and or buy a new hard drive and start transferring data.

Your C: drive should be at least 10GB. I would recommend 20GB minimum and 40 to 80 for best results. And this just for C:. In other words XP.

And in each of the above nothing over 50% full.

sorry i accidentally put 100 gig down for my total C drive and D drive memory. It is actually around 57 gigs total. i got 5.19 gigs/ 29.2 in C and 5.38/26.5 gig in D. So does this make a difference? I'm I safe if i run programs such as games?

if i dont buy a new hard drive, can i just use my computer like this safely. O something else. A few times my computer just stops and turns to a black screen. It says something something something dumping physical memory or something. It said "if this happened to you just restart but if happens more than once contact a specialist". IM not sure if that is exactly what it said but it is close enough. Does this affect my computer dramatically?

So you have a 60GB hard drive. Windows counts a bit less than the hard drive manufacturer states.

C: is always going to grow. The registry is there and is always being added to. I would stay under 50% full for best performance.

Page File is also put on C: unless you move it. This is XP's way of maximizing its memory usage.

A full hard drive might get bogged down and especially with gaming but it should not affect things too much. When you game just turn off all other processes and programs.

As to your errors please read this post:

If you've got 100 gigs, why are you restricting the disk with partitions. etc.

Is the 4/6gigs what you have alloted for memory on the disk?, or what.

When I used to run 80g, I let windows sort it all out automatically.

    Had no real problems.

i only have a limited space left in my c drive. It is filling up pretty quick. I tried cleanup defrag. et cetera. I watch movies online a lot such as youtube and movies. What could be affecting this?
