windows keep constantly sending me security updates to install ,about every 10 minutes,these are always the same updates how do i stop this ,the windows security icon is driving me potty plus its slowing my e mail messages coming through at the nomal speed please help

have you been to the update site and checked if there are any updates you're missing?

my updates are all up to date ,i have just installed the 2 updates which keep recurring,it has said updates installed correct but 3 minutes later its telling me updates are ready to install the same 2 updates,do you think if i system restore back a week will solve problem

what updates are they, critical?

i have checked my update history and its all up to date,the recurring updates are msxml 4.0 kb927978 sp2 and 925672. i cant get rid of that yellow icon it keeps coming back telling me to update those 2 updates
