Question RTHDCPL.EXE - Illegal system dll relocation

    What does this error mean????????????/

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. the application will not run properly. the relocation occurred because the dll c:\windows\system32\hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for windows system dlls. the vendor supplying the dll should be contacted for a new dll.

    thanks for your help.............

Hey, I just had the same problem after trying to change my modem. What a coincidence and very handy that this had already been posted today!! Anyways the patch in that link you supplied worked a treat. Thanx

Thank you so much. Just out of curiosity, what would happen if I don't download the patch? Would I keep getting the same error?
