Buffer overrun detected?

Buffer overrun detected?
Hi folks
Even though I've just reinstalled Firefox and sorted one issue out ok (thanks jephree), I'm now getting a grey pop-up box with this wording;-
"Buffer overrun detected
Program:C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE
A buffer overrun has been detected......"etc
I'm simply ignoring it and carrying on anyway, but it's annoying.
What does this mean, and how can I stop it appearing?
Thanks

Right Ive just fixed my problem (buffer overrrun in Internet Explorer). Go to Internet Options and reset internet to original default. It worked for me and all I lost was my favourites.
Hope this helps.
