I'm new here and I have a huge problem:
I have a Toshiba Satellite P35-S611 with a multi recorder (DVD/CD) Model Mat****a DVD-RAM UJ-820B that is not working propertly because when I try to use it, it only works for a little bit, for example; when I play music CDs it will spin normally and then it will play certain songs, sometimes it will stop in the middle of the song and won't play more. I tried playing movies and it won't play them at all. It will read only certaing CDs (CD-R) and the weirdest problem is that the driver itself says that it is a Mat****a DVD-RAM UJ-820B, but the computer will read it as Mat****a DVD-RAM UJ-820S...Could this be the problem?

have you tried a lens cleaner?

after a while dirt and dust builds up on the laser and causes problems.

I tried that and didn't work. I put a disk that I've just burned with my desktop and it read it just fine, but when I tried to open with Run>D: it said that there was a I/O conflict....what does that mean?
